The Colts have a better regular season record. So how is it decided that San Diego will host the playoff game this year in 2008?

Me and the family are making travel plans to San Diego being lifelong Chargers fans in Texas. Does anyone think it’s too soon? We would love to be at the game and watch the Chargers take a dump on the overrated Ravens.

Would the San Diego Chargers or Baltimore Ravens have home-field if they met in the AFC Championship game ?

This is hypothetical of course, because each team would have to win its next playoff game. The San Diego Chargers (8-8) have a better seed (4), but the Ravens (6 seed) have the better record (11-5). Can someone clarify and provide sources if possible? Thanks.

Will San Diego be able to compete for the full 60 minutes against New England?

Jacksonville had to come from behind on the road to beat Pittsburgh, and played a great first half against New England but were mentally exhausted in the second and their defensive focus shifted away completely from what they were good at doing.

San Diego needed all 60 minutes to beat both Tennessee and Indianapolis. They never at one point turned on the cruise control and began to enjoy a victory until the clock hit 0:00.
Will they be out of gas, so to speak, next week against New England? And if they aren’t, will it matter anyway?

I am a season ticket holder of the San Diego Chargers and they offered playoff tickets for season ticket holders. The amount came to $520 for two seats. Is this cost for 1 game or ALL the playoffs?
