It’s really simple. All you have to do is hop on the 5 FWY South at Katella or Ball Rd or Disneyland Dr. Take the 5 FWY South all the way to Sea World Drive. (FYI: When you exit the freeway, get in the middle lane. The lane on the far right ends because it turns into the park marina.) The park entrance is on your right. It’s about a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive depending on traffic.

If you are staying at a hotel in Anaheim, you might want to check if they offer free shuttle rides to the park. I know that some of the hotels do because I’ve done it before. With gas prices in CA, it’s a lifesaver. It cost me $80.00 to fill up my Honda Accord in So Cal. So, a trip for to San Diego (assuming that I live in Anaheim) and back is about $90.00 on gas. I could have used that money for extra spending cash for my trip. But don’t get me wrong, sometimes the experience on a road trip is worth it.
