I am a Naval Hospital Corspman 3rd Class stationed in Okinawa Japan and it looks like my next duty station is with the Marines again in MCRD San Diego. If anybody currently works there or has worked there what can I expect….Barracks life and all of that good stuff? Or is it the same as the Marine Base out here? Thank you in advance for your time and assistance!

I’d like to check out the nightlife (clubs, bars), but I’m not sure if it will be very active during the week. Is it way better to go on the weekend or is it still pretty ative during the week?
